  I went with my friend to get gas after grabbing some food. After we leave we realise they didn't give us a straw for the drink we ordered so we just figured we'd get one across the street since we were stopping here anyways. I run inside and after being greeted by the female cashier who seemed a bit odd and maintained eye contact, I said "all I needed was a straw, thanks." Then she told me to ask next time, "it's proper." As though we weren't in a gas station; probably the most appropriate place to just run in and grab a straw. But I apologized and left. When I got in the car and told my friend, she told me that when she was paying for the gas the same cashier insisted that the man who got behind her in line was first, even though they both disagreed. Idk if she's on drugs or just was irritated by younger, prettier women but it was just odd.
